This project comprises two high-end semi-detached residences with an approximate construction value of $2 million. Delivered for an owner-builder client within a tightly controlled Character Zone, the site presented complex zoning and planning challenges, requiring a strategic, planning-led design approach.
TY Design Studio worked proactively with council to address character, scale, setbacks and streetscape integration, achieving a compliant yet refined outcome. The final design delivers two fully customised homes that balance contemporary architecture with contextual sensitivity; prioritising natural light, privacy, and spatial efficiency. This project demonstrates TY Design Studio’s ability to navigate difficult planning constraints while delivering bespoke, high-quality residential outcomes.
