TY Design Studio was created from a desire to do commercial architecture differently. We offer exceptional design and innovative solutions, paired with a genuine collaboration that places the client at the heart of everything we do.

TY bridges the gap between building designers and large, expensive architecture firms.
We offer the best of both worlds: accountable, outcome-driven architecture without the cumbersome processes, large fees and over-design. Balancing great design with construction practicality, we are boutique, agile and responsive.
We make builders’ jobs easier by keeping projects on track and on budget. We proactively collaborate and co-ordinate planners, engineers and builders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Our Team
Led by Principal Architect Tina Yang, our team has extensive expertise in both design and project management. We have successfully completed projects valued at up to $90 million across a broad range of sectors.
Our experience in coordinating and managing multidisciplinary teams including engineers, planners and specialist consultants ensures seamless project delivery, fast turnarounds and high-quality outcomes.

With extensive experience in architectural design and project delivery, Tina leads the design vision across our portfolio. Tina is deeply involved in managing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet both client expectations and regulatory requirements.
In addition to her architectural expertise, Tina is also a licensed Assistant Real Estate Agent. This unique combination allows her to offer valuable insights into the residential market, particularly from an investment perspective. Her understanding of both design and property value enables clients to make informed decisions that balance aesthetic appeal with long-term return on investment.
